"Can it be going to America time now??"
More Flights Booked! Woo-Hoo!
I booked my flight from LA to San Fransisco online earlier this week. The rest of the flights were being painful so I decided to bite the bukllet and go back to my travel agent. So at lunchtime today I went down and spent $900 on 3 flights. That's only $500 less than the flights to the bloody USA! But that's ok, bank Balance is coping so far.
So I fly on 19th July from San Fransisco to Vancouver. I've decided to add Canada to my trip as I have 2 friends there worth visiting and I can stay with them - no accom costs! Plus Canada is so close I might as well whack it in there. And Tilds is heading to Virgin Festival on 26th July so I figured I should be there and go with her!
I fly out of Vancouver on Monday 27th July to New York arriving just before 10pm - is it wrong to dump a bag and head straight out? Nah, I didn't think so either! Accommodation in New York is proving tricky, and really freaking annoying, but I'm trying out a couple of options which *hopefully* will mean no cost accom ;)
I'm going to catch the train down to Washington DC (about 4hours and cheap I understand) on about the 3rd August and stay with a friend from Uni who leads the most intriguing life, I really can't wait to catch up with Kate and hear all about her adventures. She is an incredible activist whose creativity and enthusiasm is so amazing.
I have a flight booked from Washington DC to LA on 6 August getting me in to LA in time to catch my flight home. It will be a massive trip and *quite* a lot of time will be spent flying but hey, it'll be SOOOOO MUCH FUN!
So excited! Why do I have to work for the next 3 weeks till I go? Oh yeah... to pay for it! LOL
