Teeth Cost More than they should
Having my wisdom teeth out on 16th May.
Trying to wrap my head around the whole thing now, sort out my admission and so on.
Looks like I will be out of pocket $677.50 minimum, plus any excess on my anaesthetist, plus the fees to see my dentist in his rooms (which only get a piddly $29.50 back on Medicare).
I have private health cover, and because this is 'routine' it is only covered by the $500 cover on my routine dental. It's not considered major because of the item number my dentist uses.
So not convenient. Might have to spend the remainder of my Rudd money on it. F*cking teeth.
Really not what I need while *trying* to save for a trip to the USA in July.
