Dot points... oh, turned out to be a large post!
Because deense seems to make them work so well for her. And for kicks we'll work backwards through time until I can't think of anything else to tell you.
- Not very productive at work today
- Helped Mr H move yesterday
- Had Mother's Day breakfast with my housemate because neither of our Mum's were in Sydney
- Arrived home on the Plane on Saturday afternoon and was promptly left waiting for my lift who never arrived and I had to ring constanly for half an hour to discover she wasn't coming.
- Caught a taxi home in the WORST traffic and ended up costing me $50 to get home. A bit miffed but she apologised profusely and I'm pretty quick to forgive her and all her flakiness.
- Sat had a fab breakfast in Ballina at my best friend's parents place after staying the night, did some general shopping and browsing before catching said plane
- Fri had an in home massage and do-it-yourself facials... mmmmm, girly. Played bowling on the Wii for a bit - I can see how that thing 'could' become addictive. Went to Ballina for a BIG family dinner (though not my family, my best friend's)
- Thurs was supposed to see us taking Jo's Dad into town but plans changed a fair bit. We ended up going to Byron Bay for the afternoon, had a fab lunch, walked along the beach and I spent LOADS of cash on a bunch of fab items... oops. Headed to the in-laws for dinner which was lovely.
Psychic note: Dave's Mum is recovering from a recent Cancer diagnosis and starts Chemo very soon. Their property has multiple water falls and a dam that holds water. "Aunt recovering by the water" much?
- Weds... I'm sure there was sleeping in and doing very little. Jo had her hair cut. We and another friend went to see Ironman. Although a very good movie and RDJr was fab, that movie made me dislike and want to punch boys even more than usual. Stupid boys are stupid.
- Tues... Sleeping in, doing very little at home until Jo came home - then still very little I think. Dinner at Jo's Sister & Bro-in-law's place with their 2 kids (I'm the best Aunt ever!), Jo's brother and another mate.
- Mon Walked in to Lismore and window shopped for a bit. Sore hip so drove home in Jo's car. Psychic note: it's the right hip, it hurts, I limp. Seeing an Osteo on Wednesday
- Hunted down Lismore Postcards, hehehe Lismore postcards are crap, people getting them should find them today or tomorrow :) Sorry to those who's addresses I forgot and therefore didn't post post cards too. Chicken Tikka for dinner at home.
- Sun caught an early flight to Ballina (thanks to Mr H for the lift to the airport). Lunch in Ballina, popped in to Lismore and dropped gear, back to Ballina for Dinner with parents - mmm woodfired pizza.
- Hung around for a while, Jo mucked around on the piano Psychic note: heard 3 different piano's in the space of 3 days all of which people played wrong notes on
*** Should mention here that EVERY night I drank red wine, at least 2 - 3 large glasses and some times Much More... was a wee bit of a boozy holiday
- Sat caught up with lurextoga to see the Moran Prizes which was really good. There was breakfast and hot chocolate in there too.
- Zipped off on public transport to my Hockey Game in Canterbury - we won 1-0! Plus i played the entire game, didn't sub off, didn't collapse in a heap or and asthmatic haze :).
- Went home a grabbed a bath then back into the city for Dinner with Lurextoga at the Balckbird cafe (and only one drink) and Lindt Chocolate dessert. Got home and packed for my holiday at 11.30pm LOL.
- Fri was supposed to be fairly subdued one, but I ended up going to the pub after work with colleagues. Happy Hour. $3 Vodkas. Need I say more? 4 drinks and an hour later I was on my way home again on the bus... texting the world.
- Ended up arranging to meet P (a guy I met who lives in my suburb) and we went out for a couple of drinks. 6+ drinks and 3 hours later I find myself and P at Domino's getting Pizza and heading back to his place to eat.
- Sadly at 2am when he commented he needed to be at work in 7 hours, I took the hint and went home... boys are stupid.
- Thurs was hockey training and I'm pretty sure red wine with my housemate upon return home after said hockey training
- Weds, pamper day! Dropped in to see C (who I am now back to thinking is stupid - surprised much?) travelled into the city with C. Went window shopping (I must have a lot of windows to buy LOL) and had a massage which was faaabulous. She found knots in places I didn't think you could get knots!
- Wandered down to the Sofitel Wentworth for my manicure, pedicure, hair treatment and blow dry.... oh the decadence!
- Dropped in on C again on my way past and he admired my fab blow dryed hair. C however bailed on the promised drinks after work due to feeling like crap (later I discovered he went home and drank into the early hours of the morning anyway).
- Went to the random film thingy S held where, low and behold, there were free drinks! I ran into a friend and had a champagne, then he had to go so I hung out with newley made friends and drank more champagne. I hung a round for a little after the pitch to congratulate S, which ended up with me hanging with him and the investors drinking the rest of the bar tab, when spirits were now included.
- At 11.30pm we were 'encouraged' to move on so we all went to have dinner at a random Chinese place S knows. At 1am we were all bundling into taxi's to go to our various homes. Talk about a random night!
I think that's were I'm up too in the world of updateyness.
I should probably lay off the grog and spending for a bit - but I don't think I care enough right now and might just spend my way into debtors hell. Need a new computer. Waiting on a quote from C which I hope will be cheaper than the quote I have from Next Byte which I can pay through my payroll. Either way I will get a new computer because that is my major connection with all my friends - it's just whether the money comes out through my payroll or if it goes on to my store card with an interest free period. Fingers crossed for a resolution this week.
