A Locked Dating Post!
So Bachelor #1 is on my facebook but doesn't use it so is unlikely to read my blogs - and he was only added very recently so I've never felt the need to self-censor. Plus he's removed from my social circles being a completely new person in my life.
However, there is a story to tell, only the candidate does read my blogs on facebook. Dilemma. And now I bet you're all dying to know who and what and so on.
Well, it's kind of funny as it was more of an unannounced date. I had a ticket to Robin Williams last night going spare and he took up the opportunity. We had dinner in Chinatown before hand and a drink with friends at the Pumphouse. We went to the show and laughed a lot. Then we thought we'd have a drink after the show and ended up in a pub until very nearly midnight at which point we both realised how late it was and that we both had to work today.
Now, as I said, it wasn't clear that it was a date. I had had thoughts about the fact, but it's not one of those things you ask: 'hey, are we on a date?' ... 'no' *awkward*
However, he was chatting to me on fb today and sneakily sussed out whether I had seen it as a date with the clever comment along the lines of 'funny fact - I've never been on a date before last night' to which I had to respond 'fun, isn't it?'.
Hmmm... intriguing development.
