Honeymoon

Okay, let's try this again. Here's a little background info on the resort: There are two main buildings, the Riviera (by the beach) and the Manor (back in the rainforest a little ways). We stayed in a little villa back in the rainforest, and we got to the Manor by walking, and the Riviera by taking a little bus (It was only like a 2 minute trip). We only left the resort one day, to go on a FANTASTIC excursion. We took a catamaran to the Ocho Rios Marine Park, went snorkeling, then climbed Dunn's River Falls (if anyone goes to Jamaica, you absolutely MUST do this. It was amazing), then got back on the catamaran and cruised around the Caribbean for an hour or so while drinking a ridiculous amount of rum punch. We found out after we got back that it was called "The Booze Cruise".

Anyways, it was beautiful for 3 days, then rained for 4 days, but we didn't let it bother us. We had a great time!

The Catamaran

Dunn's River Falls

The Human Chain, climbing the falls

Cabana by the Pool, where we rested in the shade under a ceiling fan on the hot days- and sheltered from the rain on the others!

Bryan at the Upper Pool - there's a falls and a waterslide leading to the lower pool

at the Swim Up Bar at the Grande Pool at the Manor House. Seriously, this is one of mankind's greatest inventions. The guy with us is Dwayne, who gave us enough rum drinks to forget that it was raining and want to go swimming anyway.

The aforementioned Appleton rum drinks

The Waterslide, in the rain

The mandatory "Hold the Camera at Arms Length and Hope it Comes Out" shot....notice the sun tan lotion rolling off of Bryan's shoulders in the rain!

Beautiful Flowers

Well, that's it! Hopefully it worked this time. Sorry so many pictures, I love them, and once I get started it's hard to narrow it down to just a few favorites.

Anyways, I can recommend Jamaica to everyone, but I'd say check to make sure it's not the rainy season first! LOL
