This is beautiful. I really liked the voices of both Uriel and Castiel. This fits so well with who the actors have portayed them as.

And this right here:
"He opened his eyes as an angel, wrapped in the arms and wings of his brother, surrounding him, steady and dependable as the revolution of the galaxies."
This fills me with warm, fuzzy, cuddly feelings. Uriel cares!

Thank you! I'm glad the voices seemed right to you. I did change them a bit, since I figured that angels speaking in their own language would have slightly different speech patterns than angels speaking in English. :)

And yes, whoda thought that Uriel could provoke such warm feelings. O.o Not me, that's for sure.

This is marvelous - I prefer the alternate ending but this addendum gives us a glimpse of Uriel with compassion.

There's some very beautiful images in this tale and I love the last line.

Yeah, I seem to have a thing for writing brothers...

Big!Cas pov on the epilogue is likely to be quite sad, yeah, full of regret and longing. :(
