I read a story by lembas7 called "Signs & Warnings" which was a SG/SPN cross, with Sam and Dean infiltrating the SGC to take out a skinwalker that was stalking SGC personnel, and I just loved the concept. But Jack and Dean didn't interact the way I wanted them to--it was much more of an ensemble story, which was cool. But so then, I wanted Jack n Dean.

So now I'm writing it. :D

I like hurt!Dean and caring!Jack very much.

Hee! Yeah. It totally makes sense that Jack and Dean would clash, as in that story. They are so much alike that OF COURSE they set on each other like a couple of wild dogs. So that's in my story, too. (Epic snark ftw!) But I wanted to go beyond that. :D

Yay! I'm loving this! I like reading Jack's thoughts, the pondering on his past, wondering what kind of soldier Dean is. Guess he's sort of a Marine. And it was so sweet, helping him out while he's injured. The pondering on Charlie is nicely bittersweet, wondering what might have been. Ah, the lawyer bit! lol, I see what you did there! ;)

Now you've done it, now I'm imagining Charlie and Sam bonding at Stanford, commiserating over their weird dads, and later there's one big happy family hunting monsters and aliens together. Especially if you bring slash into it and they get married. XP Both dads would probably have an aneurysm. Jack and John would scuffle, then get along famously. XP

Man, you write fast. Keep it up please. As completely adorable as Dean wrestling with the coat-creature is, I can't wait for the inevitable snark when he tries to explain ghosts to Jack.

I didn't plan the coat-creature thing, but I was very glad it happened. The image in my head of Dean glaring down at the jacket wrapped around his body makes me lol.
