Well I've never seen Supernatural but I do love SG-1 so *sits down* will I be able to understand this with only the SG-1 side covered? :p

Yeah, I'm pretty sure, since this is basically before the show even starts. All you really need to know is that Dean and his father hunt supernatural things and kill them, and that was, um, kind of obvious just in this first chapter, I think? You can just look at Dean like an OC to the SG universe, probably. I'll probably be developing his character like one.

I will admit that I was a little leery to click on the link to this story. It has so much potential. And it's something I've never seen before.

I was so freaking glad to read through this and have my fears calmed and my hopes soaring. I suppose that line was a little cheesy, but I'm giddy about this story.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter :)

Thank you so much! I am quite giddy myself, if that wasn't apparent.

Out of curiosity, what made you leery? Was it the goofiness of my header? I thought maybe I should tone that down a bit, but I'm just s'darn excited about this story. Or just wariness of reading an author you don't know? If so, I can certainly relate.

Anyway, I'm glad you're looking forward to more. I am too, and I have SOOOO many ideas. :)

No, no actually it had nothing to do with your header, etc. It was more of my own leeriness as to whether the fic could hold up to the SPN and SG1 standards, you know? And I've never read anything of yours before, so I think that played a little into it too.

But I have never been so happy to be "wrong".

I will happily await your next installment of this story.

I'm going to add you as a friend so I don't miss the next update.

Awesome! :D Thanks for the friending.

I definitely get it. I love crossovers, and I love fanfic, but it's hard to sort out the good stuff.

Great cross idea! I think Dean!snark and Jack!snark in one fic could be epic. Looking forward to reading more.

It's entirely possible that this snark will cause the universe to implode. But I'm willing to take that risk.

Hah! I'm so looking forward to them meeting, and the clashing of the patronizing snark ("No, really, I'm the one who knows what he's doin' so screw off, crazy.") The characterizations feel spot on, too.

I'm always so happy when I find a promising crossover, so good job! :)

EEEhehehehehe! This makes me giggle like a loon, and it's not at all far off from what I'm writing in my head.

Thanks!

:DDD The combination of these two fandoms is awesome! Hee, Dean and Jack! That oughta be cool. Both hunting the same thing, and both of them have an explanation. Very cool, I wanna see how it turns out!
