So, yes, there are interesting reactions out there with heartfelt and good points and criticisms and stuff but omg, I canNOT be serious about this show anymore.
Oh, my silly cheesy show. You are so silly and cheesy. You are a nacho and I gobble you, omnom. CHEEEEEEESSSSEEEE.
All right, I loved the dream at the beginning, this snapshot of THINGS DEAN WORRIES AND GRIEVES ABOUT, poor bb. And "The Lindberg baby, that's on me!" DEEEAAANNN. I squish your silly face.
Also, I noticed for the first time that Amy's pupils are vertical, which helped a teeny tiny bit from them calling the dang monster kitsune, as in JAPANESE SPIRIT FOXES, and then doing absolutely nothing to fit that theme. Could have given that creature any name at all, from all we saw that was fox-like about Amy and her family.
Also, why in the THEN do they keep telegraphing the bad of the ep? How could we NOT know it was witch(es) after that? Mystery, pls. But, yes, they were oh so wonderful villains. I assume the Winchesters are going to go back and kill them later.
ANyway, my one thought. The end with the white lightning taking down the Leviathan. I thought for a second that it was Cas. Not Cas in the flesh back to save the boys all deus ex machina-y, but some spark of grace that got dispersed when the Leviathans washed out of his body, and every Leviathan out there has this little bitty bit of Cas in them, and when they try to kill Winchesters that bit goes NOOOOO and makes it not happen. Because Castiel loves Sam and Dean so unreasonably, he does, that even little tiny bits of him cannot let them get hurt.
But fine, Show didn't conform to my split-second surge of awesome hope. Is okay. I'll survive.
I kinda want that as fic now, and Sam and Dean having to collect all the bits of Castiel from all the Leviathans in order to put him back together, because Sam and Dean saving Cas after the many, many, many times he has saved them would just be justice and squishy love.
Anyway. I liked my silly cheesy show this week. A LOT.
