Yes, yes, the time is coming very soon. I have only one more scene I need/want/have to write, an "interlude" between the two main parts of the story. I will find time for that soon. In the meantime, I'm quite pleased with what I have.

Summary: In 2009, Castiel watches the Apocalypse end disastrously and makes a decision. In 1984, John Winchester suddenly finds himself with another little boy on his hands, one with dark, messy hair and sad blue eyes who won't leave John and his sons alone. And so Sam and Dean get a weirdo big brother. Because their lives aren't complicated enough.

Also there will be a soundtrack, and I've chosen to populate it almost entirely with songs that my fanon Rain 'verse Jimmy Novak-Singer-Winchester would like. So a lot of folk songs and stuff. I had three Iron & Wine songs when I started out but finally cut it down. Can't seem to get rid of the two Peter, Paul & Mary tracks, though, because both are so very necessary.
