Lots of news!

First of all, tomorrow is the LRG's Birthday Party Fund-raiser bash, at The Gaff on Holloway Road.

We are 3 years old! Come and eat cake, dance and be merry with the roller girls.

Secondly, the season finale is coming up fast, on the 25th April either the Suffra Jets or the Steam Rollers1 will be crowned champions, winners of the ( Read more... )

If they are the ones I am thinking of, that would be a rather shonky piece of journalism where they reference the London Roller Girls, but have photos of the London Rockin' Rollers!

It was actually as part of an advert thingy, and I'm also pretty sure it's you lot - as there is mention of you by derby name, and also a photo which I am sure is you (being as it has "twisted" in the pic, and also a pendant which I recognise).

Yup, that's the one. There are a few pics of us, and a photo of my chest, but there are also a number of photos of the LRR, and they don't get mentioned by name at all, so I don't imagine they're hugely chuffed with the piece!

The guy actually came to practices and games and visited over several weeks, so I don't think it's his error, I think it's just been edited with a sledgehammer. Would be interested in the scan for sure though, as I only saw the online version!

what time can you get there? It's a 5 min walk/10 min cycle/? min skate from my work, so I can be there anytime after 5pm. Happy to sit there and wait for you if you make it later, there are books and free wi-fi!
