yay! Interpol!
We got at the concert just in time to catch the end of Louis XIV, who were not that impressive...at all. And then, INTERPOL!!! They were so good! Even if the bassist has herpes! The lead singer was wicked hot until he stuck a cigarette in his mouth. It was way good times. Then the Killers came on, which valmeemily, were not really into, but my dad really likes. They were okay, except for the most annoying drummer, EVER. The girlfriendboyfriend song was really fun, I rocked out to it.
So after the Killers I thought we were going home, cause we figured Val couldn't get into the 18+ shows on Landsdown, but we decided to try anyways. THe first club we go to (Avalon) they were checking ID's, so we were like, forget it. But before we called my dad we decided to check the Axis and they weren't checking ID's! So we got wristbands and got in to see the Futureheads!! They were so good too! The club was really small and there weren't TOO many people there so we got pretty close to the stage. They were really funny, they are Scottish. So that was really fun. We caught like the last 3 songs of their set, but they played 3 more encore songs, so it was totally worth it. When they were done we decided to try the Avalon again, and because we had wristbands they let us in! The Dresden Dolls were playing, but we weren't really into it, so we left after a couple songs.
