Why do I blog?

Hmm... I first got a LiveJournal account April 22nd 2005 - wow! Just over two years ago. The reason I started it was because my friend had an account and he encouraged me to get one. I just got into the habit after a while and blogged very occasionally. Though, after about a year or so I started to get bored with it. Even before then it became a chore to update most days. I eventually just gave in.
The Halloween that's just passed, 31st October, I created this account. I got the desire to blog again and Monica was talking about getting a new account too so I decided to join in.
As for why I blog... I usually just do it to tell others about my day. It saves me telling things that have happened five times over. Also, I think it's quite therapeutic to write about your day and whenever I need to rant LJ's always here for me! I get quick a kick out of reading my past entries sometimes too and that's another reason for updating. Additionally if someone needs to know what I was doing or where I was on a certain day then if I updated I can usually tell them.
