channel surfing in the car
okay, so you know when you're driving in your car and you turn on the radio and its on like the spanish station so you flip it to star 98.7 and they're playing Coldplay and you're like "gosh, not this song again." so you keep flipping. you move past the temptations on k-earth 101, ac/dc on 93.1, chris tomlin on 95.9 and you frantically switch the station when usher comes on 105.9.
how depressing. there are at least 30 different music situations and you can't find anything you like.
just when you're about to give up because you feel completely unable to be satisfied, you give it one last shot.
you press the number 3 on your preset stations. it's 102.7 kiss fm. a commercial is playing and you're like "gosh, it's come to this. the epitome of pop music stations."
suddenly you hear a few notes and this mad tenor voice singing "there's a thousand words that i could say to make you come home."
you're like, "yeah... yeah justin. you know it."
you roll down the windows and turn it up.
"i've been sitting here, can't get you off my mind. i try my best to be a man and be strong."
now you're like pumping your fist and using the steering wheel as a drum set...
"i drove myself insane wishing i could touch your face but the truth remains you're gone...."
i hate what pop music does to me.
