Let's get a party time

Wow. I haven't updated in like a year. I haven't really felt like it, but I guess I will now.

This summer has been swell so far.

Japan was the most amazing experience of my life. I made so many friends and had such a fun time. I will always remember sitting on the deck of the Michigan Boat in Lake Biwa on that beautiful night, just sitting in a circle with all of my friends and talking about life, love, the future. You never would have guessed there was such a big language barrier between us. I've emailed a bit back and forth, but it's not the same. I miss everyone so much. For once in my life I actually felt like there was somewhere I belonged. I did tons of other fun stuff- karaoke, visiting temples and castles, going to the World Expo, going to Universal Studios Japan baby with my host family, going to Naomi's swim club and having a blast. So great. I can't wait for next summer to see them all again. It makes me sad to think I might not ever see some of them again, but I know that I will always remember them. One day we'll reunite. Until then, I have all of these great memories.

So, some fun things about Japan...

-Amanda and her GMS books
-Kumiko wanting to see said GMS books
-Spending large amounts of money ("What the heck, we're in Japan!")

-That evil hill we had to ride our bikes up every day
-Going down the hill so frikkin fast

-Almost dying after being fed some sort of weird plumb thing

-Me being the last to get my luggage and almost being left behind
-Dressing up in yukata and me and my tennis shoes
-Seeing the most beautiful and crazily awesome fireworks in the world
-Standing in front of the bus not wanting to leave and a group hug
-Sobbing like a baby and not even caring when we had to leave
-Amazing Engrish t-shirts (spring and spling, let's go with me, the f word on tons of t-shirts, etc...)
-KARAOKE!
-Puri Kura!
-Aishiteru

This is so out oforder, but I can't even list all the other crazy, funny, awesome things that happened to me on this trip. It was the happiest time of my life.

When I got home, life was boring. I've mostly just relaxed, hung out with some people, read. I have all these pictures I wanna show to people so if anyone wants to hang out soon, let me know!

That's about it for today.
