[ He tenses and looks around anxiously. Is he hearing things or is someone talking to him? And because he's in a crazy mindset he doesn't quite see Atsuki. ]

[antisilent]

Atsuki Saijo. [...But crazy, you say? DELICIOUS SHINEN AWAITS HIM AS HE ACTIVATES Σ ON ALICE EVEN AS HE SAYS THAT.

Oh. Right. [ He finally seems to actually notice Atsuki but still there's the paranoia. ]

[ So much paranoia, because the first time he wasn't cautious enough and nearly died. He keeps thinking of the little girls, the Regrets. And he's afraid of them because now he knows that they hate him. He doesn't hate them but he isn't going to die, because that'd just be pathetic. He's not giving them the name back either. These are the 88 Alice's that came before him, girls that lost everything for the name and still failed to become the true Alice. ]

[ He's trying to shake off the voices, they're not real after all. But to begin with the whole Wonderland deal was surreal so...it's hard. ]

Seems like there's reason for someone to be on edge here all the time.

I usually settle for wary, being too tense can throw you off a bit.

That's easier to do if you're used to these things I guess.
