love as an addiction

Once it's there, you say you won't need it, but you know it's so attainable. Can you stand there and watch it disappear? Can you stop yourself from wanting it all the time and where do you draw the line? You're spoiled and you tell yourself you won't expect it to always be there in your pocket to reach out and grab and well, if it's always there, who is to say if and when you should stop reaching for it? You tell yourself it will always be there, and just when you start to admit to yourself that you actually need it a little bit more than you should...it's gone. You're flat broke and your pockets are empty and you are completely stranded and craving and searching for your next temporary and artificial high.

Call me a cynic. There will be no dispute.
