Intelligence again

It is becoming more and more evident that any single measure of intelligence, like IQ, is grossly inadequate. Even people with roughly similar mindsets seem to have salient differences in their intelligence profiles (I am thinking of the endless examples of those in the 5-6 territory). And this is not even touching upon people with quite different brain wiring, who are also without a doubt quite intelligent. A system like Daniel Goleman's Multiple Intelligences seems to be overly simplistic and to miss the point somehow. I am feeling that I am better off with creating a system of my own. An intuitive one, feeling my way along. Fluid, easily modified categories. Loose connections. Synthesis and patterns. This is what I have more or less been doing up till now. I also have absolutely no desire to hoist my system upon the world in general, if only because it would probably not work for anyone but myself. Also - imagine laying out something like that in any sort of a sensible format....
