This night's frosts have completely stripped the trees of foliage. Outside in the yard there's no inch of ground not covered by leaves. (Most of them were still green.)
A couple of days more, and all the trees will be bare. And I've not yet seen the maple-like oaks which must have turned most brilliant crimson of late.
There's a definite lack of contact with nature altogether. It's a shame.

On the ash-grey sky the moon is icy silver.
