NaBloPoMo 2015 - Day 10

Nov 10, 2015 22:51

Apparently some elite athletes cheat.  I'm shocked, I say, shocked!

You probably saw how this six year old answered a tricky math problem, but if you didn't, be sure to check it out.  It made me laugh. A lot. Enough to disconcert the dog.  The head scratching is the best.

Speaking of the dog, she turned one today.  How time flies when you are puppy proofing your whole friggin' life.  Good thing she's cute.

Best red pasta sauce ever.  Seriously.  I was sceptical, (or maybe skeptical? I am never sure) but it's both crazy easy and crazy delicious. Also versatile.  Great for pasta, pizza, veal parm - all your red sauce needs. (Don't act like you don't have red sauce needs - we all know the truth.)   Try it - I dare you.

Today's prompt:

What is the hardest part of a big project: getting the energy to begin, finding the time to work on it, or feeling down that it's over?

Way to hit a nerve, NaBloPoMo prompts. It's all hard, but I think getting not only the energy but the confidence to begin is the hardest part.  Like most of us, I hate starting anything where I don't know the outcome.  And whatever you attempt, it's never as good as you imagined it should be (or as good as 'I' imagined it should be, speaking strictly for my overly-self-critical self.  Sigh.

How about you?
