wow. last week i interviewed my mom about her experience with breast cancer and i just watched the dvd and realized that i'm really lucky to have such an amazing mother. it makes me feel so inspired to see all that she has made it through. she has taught me so much and helped me learn and grow in so many ways.
i don't know what i would do without her or the incredible friends that we both have. my mom and i just have eachother here in seattle and our friends have become more of a family to us than our own. they have supported and helped us out so much over the years, it's almost unbelievable.
my mom just arrived in charleston last night for her reconstruction surgery and i'm crossing my fingers, hoping that all goes well.
