A "Good Day" at Bellows Falls old home days
My housemate Ed, My friend arisma, her friend Jess who is visiting from California and has an lj but I dunno her username, and I went to an old home days festival today in Bellows Falls, a local town.
It was hot as hell. I nearly suffered heat stroke, and the "festival" was small, and kind of lame, but I had alot of fun anyway.
I bought some earrings to gauge out my ears a little more, and I won some money at a rip ticket booth, so dinner was on me!
We even went out for ice cream afterward and I tried "Ittie Bits" - little ice cream dots of sheer goodness!
They were having fireworks tonight as well, but I am glad we decided not to stay.
I overdid a little on the walking (not hard for me to do nowadays) so now I am wiped out - totally exhausted.
I am going to bed now. I am extremely tired, but it is that happy kind of tired you get after a day well spent with good friends doing fun stuff. Today was a "Good Day". It was one of those times I will look back on and smile when I think about it for years to come.
