what a crazy weekend
so on thursday i picked up yu from the train station. except that she came by bus, not by train, so i had to try to find the bus station there. but that was kinda hard cuz it was very small and no one knew where it was. so after lots of walking around, i went back to the place wehre i was supposed to meet yu in the first place, and she was there, since like 5 min after i left. but it all worked out so thats awsome lol. we took the regiobahn (a train) back to mettmann and then we talked for like ever. on friday we drove to essen to look at werden and kettwig, both old parts of essen, and we had icecream, yay. then we drove to kray to visit my grandmother who didnt seem very excited about us being there at first, but then she invited some friends who spoke english lol. after that we drove to bonn. there it took us like an hour to find parking, literally. but we finally found some and then hiked to my aunt and uncles. we had dinner there and then we went out for drinks, it was funny cuz my aunt and uncle were all like parents whose kids never went out before. lol. i guess they sorta are. the next day we slept late and then we went to bonn and the place whre beethoven was born. we watched some digital presentation which was, well lets say interesting. at 5 we watched germany vs sweden with my aunt and uncle in some bar. that was very stressful though cuz the swedes were pretty good. but then germany won 2:0 anyway. yay. ppl there were really excited about that. yu, my aunt and i were more excited about the swedish guys, well and a couple of germans. but i couldnt admit to liking the swedish guys, well their looks anyway, til they would be like 3 points behind, which they never were so we had to wait til after the game to discuss that. after that we went out for spanish food and then yu and i walked to the icecream place and had some more icecream.
on sunday we went to cologne and it was soooo hot. we looked at the dom and the old city and then we went to the fifa fan fest hehe. that day england was playing so they were a lot of crazy english ppl. but we didnt stay for the game cuz it was too hot. well like i found out the next day, the screening was cancelled anyway cuz there was a huge thunderstorm. but we watched the beginning for the game outside some icecream place. where i also had some icecream, duh. the we drove back to mettmann but the navigation system broke so it took us a while to find the way back. back in mettmann we got pizza and my father took us out for icecream, ahh so much of it.
yesterday i dropped off yu at the train station and then drove to work. it was sorta a crappy day cuz i was inside all the time with NOTHING to do. like i dont mind doing something boring that much, but i hate doing nothing. so i was sorta grumpy after. in the evening i was sooooo tired. so i was just hanging around.
today was actually really good. i dont remember what i did in the morning but then we went out for lunch which was fun. we went to this sorta fancy place which was funny cuz it was on a campground but all the waiters were all the funny waiter type. i had this baked bree. yummy. then we had icecream lol. but it was lots of fun. i ll def miss the ppl at work after tomorrow. aw, tomorrow is gonna suck. in the afternoon the sd and i went outside and he talked on the phone til it started raining lol. so we did the stuff in the rain and he tried to protect us from teh train by opening his trunk, he has a station wagon btw, but that didnt help cuz it was windy. but at least it kept the clipboard dry. then my mommy called, yay. and i sat in the car cuz i couldnt hear her outside cuz of all the cars drving by and we talked for like half an hour. sometime in between the sd moved the car to the other side of the instrument but that meant the trunk was on the far side but he still kept the clipboard inside the trunk so everytime he wanted to write something he had to walk around the car. well at least he got some exercise. so when i finally went back to work, i got some exercise too.
