Beer and Miracle player
Last night I was lucky enough to be invited to the Belgium beer hall again and kept up with my Vice Principal, Beer for Beer, damn the beer there tastes GREAT! and food is fantastic too, what more do you want really? The get together was in honour of one of my close JTE (Japanese teacher of English) who is going away for 2 weeks to Thailand and Malaysia, she is going with a few other teachers and 18 students from around hyogo prefecture, so it was a send off party for her. and I have to say I have the best kyoto sensei (vice principal) in the world!! he paid for our dinner like he usually does and he is asking when we can go again, but we must have a "reason" and he has already thought of the next one, and that is my friend Lisa who is coming on the JET program next month. So it looks like off we go again to the beer hall next month! Wahoo!
Now to the Miracle player, for those of you who haven't seen my tiny little mp3 player, be assured it is tiny! it is easily lost in your pocket. Well I have been looking for my little player for a few days now, but haven't been able to find it (besides the fact that I seem to have lost the USB cable for it as well) and it is my 1000$aus player!! (no it didn't cost that much, and actually i didn't even pay for it, it was a gift, however it was a gift from my ex and the amount that I spent on him and money that i lent him (which he just informed me he thought was a gift), comes to about 1000$aus (yes stupid me, now we see why i don't want a boyfriend for a long while!) so i figure that that little mp3 player is the exchange for it, so that's how much it is worth) so considering all that I should really treat it a lot better. but this morning when I was taking my laundry out of the washing machine, I pulled out some silver ear phones, and went "Uh OH!!" scrapped through the rest of the wash and found my mp3 player :( and i thought that was the end of it, going through a full wash cycle and to dry cycles... one of the ear pieces on the head phone has been ripped off, but i thought what the heck lets see if it turns on, and low and behold!! it still bloody works!!! unbelievable!! and the one side of the head phone still works, so i have some music for a little while. and no i can't buy new head phone cause the jack size is different and i only have it only the charge runs out which looks to be soon, or until i find the usb cable so i can recharge it. but at least the player still works!!! so that is my super expensive miracle player :)
