Hawaii: the long wait

Apr 30, 2005 10:38

So after getting rid of the obnoxious boy, we hit the beach for the first time since arriving in hawaii. It was great we rented a beach umbrella and deck chairs and basked in the glory that is our life. It is a great feeling to know that you are totally independent and earn enough cash to take a holiday when you please to a tropical retreat!

We ate a great dinner at the Honolulu Hard rock and had a VERY flirtatious waiter who informed us that the nightclub we were planning to go to (Oceans) were having a theme night tonight and if we wanted any chance of getting in we should be in line NOW!... but we tried anyway

we arrived at 9pm, early enough i think to get into a nightclub... but apparently not early enough in hawaii... we waited for about 2 and a half hours and moved about 10feet!!! I was ready to strangle someone since i wanted to leave as soon as i saw the line, but i indulged bron cause she said she wanted to wait in line... ARGH! but i guess its good that we did since we met so very cool locals - Jackie, Paul and Scott. THey whisked us away to another night club called pipeline, mainly R&B but I had a good dance.

Unfortunately that night I had to put my life on the line for people I had just met because of the F*cked up male ego, "I'm fine I can drive!" shite.... so since young Paul didn't want to leave his car behind and Jackie and scott were driving too, I had to get in the car with Paul and make sure he paid attention to the road... yay.. but we made it safe and sound to tippy's the 24hr local denny's and the group was entertained by bron's drunken babble. Scott dropped us back to our hotel and we made it to bed in the early hours of the morning yet again...
