Wadayama Summer Festival
So I took fri off and met up with Lisa in Osaka before we jumped on the train for a couple of hours to make our way north to Wadayama for their annual summer festival! Wai! Wai! Rori was nice enough to let us crash at her place and picked us up from the train station and dressed us even :) I unfortunately didnt get to wear my new yukata (summer kimono) since rori's spare yukata is yellow and an all yellow outfit on a redhead (namely lisa ;) ) doesn't quite go, so lisa wore mine and I took the yellow. we all had a lovely time, eating japanese BBQ, watching the hanabi (fireworks) and I won my self a cute little pet turtle (Kami-chan, very original name, 'kami' just mean turtle in japanese). Unfortunately our plans on the sat didnt quite work out but everyone had fun and I got to play with my turtle on the train ride home.
