Yet another walk..

Oct 11, 2013 23:21

I was out walking yesterday for the first time in a while. I was on those antibiotics and they made me really sick. They didn't make any difference and when the doctor finally allowed me to stop I was so relieved.

(Also. My spellcheck is in Danish. I have got to rectify this. Having everything in Danish on my computer is so very annoying, and it will make (inevitable) troubleshooting in the future much harder.)

Sunday I went to my nephew's birthday and chit-chatted with family for a few hours. I was feeling very sick though (those damn pills) so didn't stay for very long. I got some fancy dresses in June and I finally had an occasion to wear one of them and I had a great hair day so there was that...

I'm still pretty meh... It doesn't seem to want to go away. I finally caught up on my sleep again - or rather, it just became more regular; for two days - and then yesterday I couldn't sleep again. I get stressed out over little things and they prey on my mind.

Anyway, I have wanted to post in a while but I haven't had any drive to do so. Yesterday I brought the camera on my walk but when I sat down to post the pitures LJ was down so just... meh.

Meh meh meh. Right now I'm very down and I shouldn't really be posting. I have been reading the Georgette Heyer book I find most amusing to distract myself all day but it isn't really helping so I thought I'd post the pictures I took yesterday instead.

So here goes..

When I started my walk the sky was this wonderful blue colour with just a very few clouds.

It's still pretty green.

Pretty colours. I'm pretty sure these berries are some kind of honey-suckle.

More pretty colours..

On the beach. The sun was really bright. The time was around one in the afternoon and it's aleady pretty low on the horizon. it'll only get worse from now on...

Hello! It's really difficult to take pictures with the camera with one hand!

I love this poplar on the beach. It's always so bright. there's still some green at the top.

Low tide so I could walk past the rocks.

It's not that they are difficult to traverse, it's just they are kind of hard to see sometimes, and when the water is high there is the possibility of falling into it and getting one's feet wet...

Erosion.

This was the reason I went this way today. I wanted to check out the clematis on the beach that I also took pictures of last year. Another week and it will be even more spectacular.

On the ground.

I then walked out to this little tip to try and get a picture of as much of the clematis as I could.

There it is. Some of it. It stretches at least for as long to the right but that part was around the slight bend and in the shade and didn't hardly show up on the photos.

Crab shell. There were lots of crab... remains around.

The woods across the water. That is actually a training ground for the military and there's a practice... bombing?... range overthere too (and another in nother direction.) When the weather is still and they are firing it can make the walls of our house tremble.

The mouth of the bay (if you can see it; the camera refused to focus on anything or let me take a picture when I tried to zoom in on it.) On the right is the town where much of my family lives. With binoculars we can see the roof of my uncle's house, yet it takes about an hour and a half to actually get there (can drive all the way around the bay or go to the left tip and take a ferry across. It's roughly the same. Now if I were to take busses and trains, etc. it would take me around three hours). Pesky water.

New sign! The old ones have been replaced with these shiny new ones all over. The motive is still the same but there is now a speed limit and a Neighbour's Watch notice (it's seasonal housing. Most of the houses are empty for most of the year.)

Rowan. The berries are very pretty right now. Dont go around eating them unless they've been treated by either heat or cold!

There was a whole stretch of beach where I didn't take any photos because clouds decided to appear and make everything a bit gloomy. The sun came back though.

The camera isn't that good at capturing the reds. They were really quite intense some places.

nd that was that. I did take a lot of photos in the garden as well but I don't know whether to post them or not, and it will have to be a seperate post.

I'm sick of feeling so listless all the time. Its as if nothing is pleasing and if I finally find something to distract myself it never lasts very long.

I'm sure this entry is littered with spelling/typing errors. There are red squiggly lines everywhere...
