The Legend So Far!
I thought it would be cool if I gave my journal entries the same titles as Steel Samurai episodes. I want to go out and find a box set so that we have something to watch around the house, but Sis wants everyone to stay in until we all feel better.
So anyway! This is what I've been up to lately! I moved in with my sis in her apartment up above the ramen shop (and it smells sooooo good... this has to be the best place for an apartment ever). It's a little bit crowded because we live there with a bunch of other people, like Sis's boyfriend Mr. Armando. He's a little weird and whatever you do, don't come between him and his coffee! But he's a very nice guy. He cooks me pancakes in the mornings sometimes and he calls me Hermanita, which at first I thought was a boy's name but it turns out it means "little sister" in Spanish. Isn't that cute? I just wish he'd stop calling my hair a topknot... it's so not.
There are other people here too, a bunch of weird short kids. There's Laharl and Flonne, who are apparently not actually little kids but are actually a couple thousand years old. The only other person I know who's a thousand years old is that annoying security lady from back home, but I guess it goes to show you don't have to be wrinkly and cranky to be old! Speaking of cranky, that Laharl kid's kind of a trip. But Flonne is so sweet and nice she reminds me of Pearly. I do hope Nick's taking good care of Pearly...
Anyway, I was thinking when I do get my hands on some Steel Samurai episodes I'll throw a barbecue or something. Once everyone's feeling better, I mean... because I don't know about you guys, but when I'm depressed all I need is a nice juicy burger!
