Brrr... I hate the cold. It's 8 degrees out and it feels even colder. I was going to say that Alison could make fun of me for not liking this weather, her being from canada and all, but it is warmer in canada than it is here.
Speaking of things I hate...
Our neighbors.
I hate them.
They are jerks.
I know I have mentioned the parking thing before, but I'll recap... Each townhome has two assigned spots, and there are "free" spots here and there. There is an entire row of free spaces above the covered spaces for our section.
Anyway...Last night they had a bunch of people over.
One point during the evening there were three cars parked behind the one car already in thier spot.
Then they had a car in the free spot, and one behind that. There was a truck in their covered spot.
But the kicker was that there was also a truck parked in our spot.
First, instead of using any of the free spots, that are actual parking spots, they block the parking lot. Then they park in our spot too.
That was wrong.
So, on my way to work last night, I decide that I'm going to ask them to move the truck in our spot.
I was planning on being very cordial about it.
So I knock on the door.
I hear someone mutter "Yeah?".
I, of course think they are talking to each other.
Surely that isn't their response to someone knocking on the door.
That would be rude. A "come in" or "who is it?", would have been bad enough, but just a "yeah?".
I knock again, and again I get the response of "yeah?", this time louder.
So I yell through the door, "Could you move your truck, it is parked in our spot?"
This guy comes to the door and says "What?", while holding what I am sure is a cup filled with some sort of alcoholic beverage (most likely beer).
I repeat myself.
He says, "What? That Ford? I don't know who's it is."
I just stand there, cause I know that it belongs to someone visiting there.
Then he says "Oh yeah, he's gone now, he took my truck cause he locked his keys in his truck. He'll be back soon."
I just say, "Whatever, just move it, cause it's parked in our spot."
This is all normal behavior for them. They are very rude and inconsiderate.
Meh, enough about that.
I'm off to sleep.
Once I wake up, I have to work 13 hours. Yay! (end sarcasm)
