It's a beautiful day in the neighbourhood.....tra-la-la
Isn't it gorgeous outside? I know, I know, it's cold, but it's still sunny and absolutely beautiful. I have to say, I love my office, high up in a building downtown, overlooking the South-West and even a piece of the South Shore. I'd better enjoy it while I can as (most of you know) Ben's is officially closed and is currently in the process of being demolished. Sadly, I have a front row seat. It will be replaced by yet another glass monstrosity, of which there are already beyond too many. With this new construction, more than likely I will lose my view as it will be directly in my path. So, for now, I try to enjoy my view as much as possible.
On another note, whoever designed the Echography test was a sadist! As part of the battery of tests to figure out what's wrong with my stomach, I had to do an Echo. As tests go, it's not invasive and not especially painful, just unpleasant. But there are levels of unpleasant. So I had to drink a whole lot of water, first thing in the morning (which only served to make me nauseous), then hold it in so they can press on my stomach. At least it's good practice for when the time comes that it's for a pregnancy. Now I need only wait for the results of these tests.
