Idiocy in wedding world - Rant
Fair warning, this is a rant......
To all wedding vendors: If you are so freakin' bored of your job, please do us a favor and quit. Just because you've done hundreds of weddings doesn't mean that I have. This is my one and only and a little curtesy goes a long way. With less than two weeks until the wedding, is it really so much to ask for the DJ to call us back after several messages? We haven't spoken to him once so far. (I'm thinking perhaps preparing an iPod as backup wouldn't be a bad idea). I realise that our wedding is not the be all end all of your existence and that the weekends before and after you probably have similar events. Once again, these events are not mine; the only important one to me is my own.
Just to recap, there are 12 days until the wedding and we've yet to speak to the DJ in person. Though, to be honest, of all the potential problems we could have, the DJ is very low on the list.
