decision

So I decided not to go to Budapest and just to go to Prague. I've been thinking about it this whole break and then I made up my mind last night and then saw Maya's email to me this morning, which just confirmed my feeling and I feel good about the decision. I never do well in Budapest, its too close to the NAC, and if Kelley goes I wouldnt get to do the team anyway. So Prague it is. In answer to you question, maya, i guess i'm training through prague, but everything is all messed up by the holidays anyway.

I'm in week 3 of general training right now.
--The week after the NAC I didnt fence at all. Not on purpose, but I had a travel day, a rest day, and then mad holiday parties so I didnt fence at all. I feel guilty about that but I worked out a lot

--Last week I fenced a lot, so I guess it was more specific. I had a TERRIBLE practice Thurs night that made me want to cry, but I ended up staying up late and laughing with Emily and going in late on Friday to the big pool and I was tired and distracted and had to fence a million bouts in a row and actually fenced well. I was very present. Funny.

--This week I'm in Cali and I'm making a point to be very active even though its the holidays I've done:
--sat (rest + teach class + fly to cali)
--sun (run on track: fartlek, sprints, plus agility drills)
--mon (rest / xmas)
--tues (2 hour bike ride / about 20 miles)
--wed (today I think I will do some footwork and a yoga class or a total body fitness class if there is one at my parents gym; if there is no class, I'll run intervals on the treadmill, do footwork, and lift)
--thurs (ditto to wed) + fly that night
--fri = afternoon practice + travel to vermont

training, world cups
