Speaking as one who knows the feeling: if you're not careful, it just sneaks up on you, like neurospora in the refrigerator. ;D

However, I have to say that I think you're a totally amazing woman, and there's really no reason for you to have to be insular, unless you really want to be, or unless it's a choice you're making in your life right now, for whatever reason. :)
