Well, this icon was made using an existing tutorial that you can find here by bomb_hands.

Now, I think I know what you mean by "how you've put that white lines around amy lee?"

Erase the background from your image and keep the silhouette only.
Original Image and Cutout Image.

Right Click the Cutout layer and choose BLENDING OPTIONS. Go to STROKE and choose the settings that you want, color, size and all.

It should now look like THIS
