the Deathly Hallows and Marilyn icons
I'm back. We got back on Sunday but I was avoiding going online until I've read the Deathly Hallows.
I just finished reading it Tuesday evening. I liked it...most of it. I liked it more than I thought I would. I just really didn't like the Remus/Tonks. I didn't even mind them getting married that much when he was so unhappy about it. I swear when he came to Grimmauld place and told Harry that he shouldn't have married Tonks, I thought he'll at least say he's gay, maybe even that he loves Sirius. And then he said it's because of the baby and that was just wrong and out of character. It's good that they died rather than lived together, and that in the Forbidden Forest when Harry summons the dead he loved there's no Tonks.
I was a bit surprised to find that remusxsirius went on as usual, with loads of fics and art, as if nothing happened. I was a bit worried about the puppy fandom and I'm so relieved that it didn't seem to affect it. I love the entry in rockstar_cafe concerning the Deathly Hallows - here. And I agree with Sirius, someone should have named a kid after him. He was Harry’s godfather and he died trying to help him, and Harry loved him and was crushed by his death and all.
I'm slowly trying to catch up with everything.
