It's interesting how many things sometimes change in a short time. Some are good, some not so good, and some with the potential to be good.
Potential to be good: As posted earlier, I quit at Jo Ann back in November. I don't miss it this time (last time, there were days that I vaguely missed it while working at the office.) I see posts

I can only imagine how long it will take JoAnn to find someone to take your old position, especially if they expect them to take the low pay, forced non-full time, no benefits, and the workload of 2-3 people...
Glad that your physical health is improving, and it's no surprise that getting away from that toxic environment helped massively. Hearing about the healthcare issues still brings me down though... I've got a couple friends at school who are a bit America-obsessed, but not with the good, just the bad... The religious fanatics, broken government, corruption and general stupidity. I've got more than enough anecdotes that support that the shit they read on the net is true, and your situation is another to add to the pile sadly. Sucks so much.
Grats on the driving lessons! Having a car is true freedom in the states... but driving still is scary as hell for me. Even after driver ed was over, just having my dad in the car with me was enough to freak me out. I hope you can work through your anxiety issues, and I can totally relate.
So sorry to hear about Boot! :( I can only imagine what it's like to lose a part of your family like that. I hope he isn't in too much pain, and hangs on with you all for as long as he can.
Great job on finishing up your DIY room project! :D I bet it looks fantastic. I can feel your pain on the streetlights... we have a couple crazy blinding ones near our bedroom windows due to the sidewalk/street being so close by. But I'm a bit of a hermit anyway, I like keeping the blinds closed. ;P
Gaming is great-- it clears your mind, relaxes you, entertains you, inspires you... and I like your taste in games! I get these guilty feelings sometimes when I game like I know I could be using the time for other "more important" things, so I hope you aren't getting too caught up in not writing or doing art. When the inspirations hits, you know what to do-- until then, let some good gaming heal your soul. :D

Heh I could definitely tell some stories that would fuel your friends' fire about this mess of a country with the potential to be so great but failure to see any of it past a few billionaires' pocket-filling propaganda of "for the American people!"
Sadly, the driving lessons are going to have to go on hiatus for now since I'm out of tax return money T___T. Searching harder for a new job now, then I can resume. I don't think driving will ever not freak me out. Sigh...
Boot is surprisingly still hanging on. I'm at a loss as to what to do for him. He doesn't have much of a life anymore but he's not willing to give it up.
I'll send some photos of the bedroom project your way through FB since it's easier than linking them here ;). But yeah, inspiration needs to come back again. But until then... gaming it is.
