Fic: Surfacing
Hi, guys... assuming anybody is even still out there! I've been off work this week on a stay-cation, its sole purpose being for me to work on a fic. I started another novel-sized Seven Bride for Seven Brothers story some time ago but, due to RL, I've given up even trying to work on it during the week. With weekends being the only option, the progress has been slow going. This week off definitely helped.
It occurred to me that I never posted my first 7B47B epic here and, at over 100,000 words and with 17 biggish chapters, I'm not going to fight with lj's quirks to do so either. It's posted at AO3 and fanfiction.net anyway but, I still wanted a page for it over here (and linked on the right) so I'll be using this entry for that purpose.
Way back when I'd started writing Surfacing, I'd had the ambitious intention of creating a video for it, using clips from the episode "A Ring for Hannah" (the mine cave-in episode) to help setup the back-story. I no longer have that ambition LOL. I don't yet know how (and don't want to take time away from my writing to learn) plus have seen the misery vidders go through getting their vids removed due to copyright issues and having to re-home them. So, I'm going to save myself time and frustration instead by linking to a few episode-related YouTube videos already out there instead:
