I still hate minivans
800 miles and counting.
Three guys from work and myself have been touring the Northern Midwest to visit four of our dealers concerning any assembly problems they may have with some of our current production planters. So far we've visited three out of the four dealers and have gotten some good feedback with minimal ass chewing. Yay!
I find it a touch annoying that the person leading this group didn't think to figure out places to stay in, but we've been lucky so far. The first night was a hole in the wall that turned out to be surprisingly good and cheap at $52 a night. Last night as the AmericInn. $68 should have bought softer beds. Tonight is the stunning Dakota Magic Casino and Hotel! For non-members it's $62 a night, but if you sign up for a free membership, the cost is $38 and they give you a free $40 to play on their slot machines. Yay! I made $6, a coworker managed to win and keep just about all $40 and then some. Bastard. :P
Tomorrow is our last dealer and then we'll start making our way back home. Hopefully we'll be in Omaha, Nebraska, tomorrow night and then finish the trip home on Friday. Granted, the weather here in North Dakota is pretty shitty, but we're at least South far enough to skip most of the flooding. I'm just curious to see if we get any deep snow tonight. :P
