Notes: Well, I had this planned in my mind on the night before Hikaru's birthday, but I never could write more than half of this whole thing. But finally I managed to finish it now! So it's a 'belated-gift-for-Hikaru' kind of thing! :D For Hikaru-thon, here.

1. It's a birthday thing.

Hikaru stared at his watch. Just one minute more before his birthday, and knowing JUMP, at least someone would send him a message this late. Once the digits flipped, it struck 12AM.
Soon after a few seconds of silence, Hikaru felt his mobile under his pillow vibrated on the mattress, and instantly his hand flashed and took it from beneath the pillow, tapping on the buttons to open up his inbox message.
As he thought, it was a JUMP member greeting him with a message. But to his surprise, it wasn't from Daiki, nor Inoo. But from 7. Yuuto to be exact.
"Hikaru-kun,
Happy Birthday! I hope you got this message in time! I stayed up the whole night so I can send this message.
Time goes by, ne~ Last year, JUMP didn't manage to celebrate your birthday, but this year, it'll be different!
Well, at least a year has passed now. You're 18 already! 3 years older than me, Yama-chan, Chinen, and Keito, ne!
People can now look at you as an 18 year old! And when you hug us, they'd think, 'What a good older brother!' But I think Hikaru-kun is shorter than me and Keito, ne!
Doesn't that make Keito the guy now? But he's 3 years younger, ne~
Sometimes, don't you think on your birthday, 'Ah~ I have a year less to live now~'? That's sad, ne~
Well, I hope I didn't disturb your sleep, and that you'll enjoy today!

Hikaru stared at the message. His face frozen upon seeing the phrase, '...he's 3 years younger..'
"Am I that old now..." Hikaru's head dropped. "I don't want to turn 18 yet..."
"And.. he's taller than me.. and to live longer..."
2. Even members makes mistakes.
"Guys! I got a cake from the staff! They said it's for a JUMP member's birthday!" Takaki stated out as he came in the room with a cake, while grinning widely. "They didn't say who, and when I looked at the cake, there's no name."
"Where's the staff members then?" Yamada asked as he looked at Takaki.
"They're busy with something.. so they told us to celebrate it amongst ourselves." Takaki looked down at the cake before walking to the table, placing it on the table.
Hikaru pulled the pillow off his head as he looked at Takaki from the couch. He had been resting all this while as he spent half the night away, being worried about the message Yuuto had sent to him.
JUMP members gathered around the cake, and he also sat up.
"Maybe it's a belated birthday cake for Chinen?" Yamada suggested.
"Maybe, ne~" was the common answer amongst the members, except for Yuuto and Hikaru.
"Ehh-" Before Hikaru could get anyone's attention, they sang Happy Birthday to Chinen. Yuuto just looked at Hikaru, who simple had a dumbfounded face. Soon enough, the cake was cut and they ate it amongst themselves, with members arguing who'd get the most strawberries, and the most chocolates.
"Just eat up. I'll try to give the rest some hints later." Yuuto suggested in a low soft tone, while giving Hikaru a smile, sitting beside the birthday boy. Hikaru looked at Yuuto and flashed back a slightly uncertain smile. Both members enjoyed and ate up their cake in silence while the rest simply became monkeys, still aruging over who gets the most chocolates, and who gets the most strawberries.
3. Even idols get their moments of invisibility.
Hikaru wasn't sulking at all. Sure JUMP had made a mistake, but the fact that JUMP sent Hikaru to buy them drinks just simply meant that no one seems to remember about his birthday. He didn't want to think badly of them, so he decided to push it aside. With his hands in his pockets, he dragged his feet down the hallway, until he saw a group of juniors.
He decided not to say anything and just went to his own business, as he walked passed by them, until he heard the word, 'birthday' in their conversation. He stopped in his tracks and looked back at them. Were they talking about him?
He turned his head and watched the Juniors talking and conversing with each other when they stopped and looked in his direction. Hikaru felt his heart beating fast. He knew what would happen next.
"Happy Birthday, Hikaru! We got you presents. Don't worry about JUMP, they will remember later on!" The Juniors greeted him as they crowded around him with sparkles of idolisation.
"Ahahahaha! I'm happy that you guys remembered my birthday!" Hikaru laughed as he placed his hands on two of the lucky Juniors.
"It's because we idolise you!"
"I love you all!" Hikaru grouped all the shorter, younger members in a huge hug.
"We love you too, Hikaru-senpai!" The Juniors claimed as they continued to fawn over the older boy.
"Taiga!" The Juniors called out. Hikaru was pulled from his day dream, when he felt a gush of wind. He looked back to find Taiga making his way towards his direction only to be stopped by the group of Juniors.
"Tomorrow's your birthday! Want to go somewhere tomorrow?" They asked, as Taiga looked at them, before glancing back at Shintaro behind him.
Hikaru just gapped at this scene. "...Am I an invisible person now?"
"No wait.. That's not what I'm supposed to be worried about.." Hikaru's face turned stern as he recalled back about his day dream, before his face twitched.
4. Sometimes it's good to know why you're being congratulated for.
"Hey, Hikaru! We heard about it!" Takaki called out as he turned his head to Hikaru while sitting on the couch.
"Eh?" Hikaru gave him a questioning look before walking over to place all the can drinks he got for the members.
"We heard it from the Juniors! ...Well.. Actually its the Juniors who told Taiga who told Shintaro who told Ryutaro who told Daiki who told Chinen who told Yamada who told Yuuto who told Keito who told Inoo who told Yabu who told me, and now I'm telling you about it!" Takaki rambled on.
"Errr.." Hikaru still stared at Takaki with a confused look.
"Congratulations!" Takaki got up and shook Hikaru's hand, with a grin. "You deserve it!"
"..I do?" Hikaru raised an eyebrow.
"Though, we feel bad about it.. I think it's best to congratulate you for it! It's never too late to." Takaki stated out.
"They remember my birthday now?" Hikaru asked in his mind while giving Takaki a smile. "Yeah, thanks! I'm glad you all know now!" Hikaru gave them a goofy, happy grin.
"But you bought me the wrong drink," Takaki stated with a straight face.
"Eh? I did?" Hikaru stared at Takaki. "...I guess I'll go buy you a new one then."
Hikaru's hand slipped away from Takaki's before he left the room, happy that someone remembers his birthday finally, though, throughout the whole time, JUMP had just continued to stare at Hikaru, while fear could be felt, especially coming from the younger members.
"I wonder if he should ACTUALLY be happy about it," Inoo stated out.
"I wonder if he ACTUALLY knows what I'm talking!" Takaki stated, as he turned to the rest.
Yabu looked at the two before looking outside the door which Hikaru had left open.
"Poor Hikaru.. He doesn't know that the Juniors gave him the title of the 'Pedo Older Brother'..." Yabu stated in his mind silently.
5. Even members continue to makes mistakes.
"Hikaru! Happy Birthday!" Half of JUMP sang out in an uncoordinated harmony.
Hikaru lifted up his head as he stared at a newly baked cake without any more mistakes, since across the top was written, 'Happy 19th Birthday, Hikaru!'
"Uwah! Really?!" Hikaru stared at them as they held it in front of the sitting member.
"We're sorry about the mistake earlier on. We sort of forgot about it.." Yamada stated as he looked at the rest behind him, with moving in his spot. Everyone had a slightly guilty look, but tried to smile it off.
"Well, it's okay! At least you remember about it, and made the effort to have a cake." Hikaru flashed one of his goofy smiles at them, before their feelings of guilt melted away by the carefree grin Hikaru always had.
"Ja! Let's eat it." Takaki called out, and JUMP nodded in agreement before moving back to put the cake on the table. Hikaru just proceeded to smile at them, before standing up and walking over. Chinen, Yuuto and Ryutaro were busy trying to put the candles on, while Daiki and Keito got the plates and forks ready.
Hikaru looked over Chinen's shoulders and watched as the young boy tried to put the candles in place, but failed to do so as his candles soon fell onto the cake. Hikaru simply reached out and fixed it in place for Chinen, flashing a smile to the younger boy. Despite his birthday being two days ago, Chinen was still like a little boy.
Hikaru looked at the cake, and soon enough noticed there was 19 candles on his cake, and also the very obvious writing of '..19th Birthday' on the cake. His eyes squint, and soon widened in realisation.
"Hey! I'm not turning 19! I'm turning 18!" Hikaru looked at everyone else. JUMP looked at Yabu, who looked at Takaki, who glanced at everyone before pointing at Daiki, who simply widened his eyes and turned to Chinen, who hid behind Ryutaro, who simply stood up for himself, saying, "I-I asked Yamada!" where Yamada simply replied, "I got it from Yuuto," who in turn said, "Keito told me," who simply kept quiet before speaking up, "Inoo told me about that, so I told Yuuto."
Everyone turned to Inoo, who grew nervous and moved in his spot. "... My mistake?"

I'd have to say I'm still a bit rusty, but I feel that it's better a bit for now. I know I posted and finished this a bit too late, but hey, at least it's not yet a week after his birthday, right? (゜∀゜) I hope you guys like and enjoyed it! I have yet to finish my birthday fic for Chinen and Hikaru. & fed up of having to edit this post because the HTML is so ****ed up.
