Woo Hoo!!!
The job search goes on, but I now have an interview at Conde Nast (the publishers of magazines such as Wired and Gourmet) tomorrow at 10 am. They called me out of the blue and said they need someone immdiately. I could smell their desperation over the phone, which means that this might actually work out. Plus, I am still working on getting a teaching job so I am in a pretty good mood.
Oh yeah, and this weekend is the Long Island film festival. Its going on Walking distance from my apartment. (Which in and of its self is a cool thing because nothing ever happens within a twenty minute drive of Glen Cove.)It's seems to be mostly indy movies and shorts, I have only heard of one of the films they are showing a trailer for so I am looking forward to a pleasent surprise or two. This is an open invite to anyone who wants to come out for a night. If you want any more info check out:
