The new Porcupine Tree album (Fear of a Blank Planet) does not dissapoint, but it also fails to wow as a departure from the previous album, Deadwing. It is also an album with collaboration. Rush's Alex Lifeson appears on one track, and King Crimson's Robert Fripp on another. Overall, I like the album (even if there is not enough Colin Edwin in the album!) but it does surprise me that the material is as close to sounding like Deadwing as it is.
Regardless, I still look to seeing them on the 25th!
