After my mother passed away, I decided to trace her heritage and discovered my ancestors arrived in Philadelphia in the nid 1600's. With all that has happened in America since then, I can't help thinking that I won a lottery for just being here today. So much could have happened to snuff out my time line. We really are lucky to live in this day and age.
