R.I.P Brittany Murphy 1977-2009

Dec 30, 2009 00:39

As pretty much everyone knows, last week, December 20th 2009 Brittany Murphy passed away. As my own form of tribute, I pulled out my Uptown Girls DVD and decided to do a picspam of the movie and one of my favorite duos, Brittany and Dakota Fanning.

Ray: Oh my god, you're my new nanny?

Molly: Ray! Have you gone mad! There is never an excuse for hitting another person
Ray: She was laughing at me becuase her "Au Pair" said that my new nanny was a slut-bag whore

Quite possibly the funniest scene in this movie. I love how Ray was defending Molly even though they were still kind of on edge with each other. Obviously the funny part is when Molly starts going after the other girl's nanny after she just gave Ray a lecture about fighting.

Definately the sweetest moment

EXTRAS

Brittany: Well, Dakota is quite a ham, so we would have fabulous photoshoots in the hair and make up trailer

Brittany: I lllooove her, Iove her, Dakota is a force of nature.

"She loves life, she loves childhood, she is such a kindred free spirit, ball of sunshine, energetic joy. She also has a very old soul and she is extremely wise and so bright, sharp and intelligent. And, as far that's concerned, you can talk with her about anything in the world, and she utilizes all of her wisdom and all of the beautiful morals that her extraordinary family has taught her, in her acting." - Brittany on Dakota

"Oh Lord, she's the best at being nine that I've ever seen. She is so wildly intelligent. I could eat up all the time in the world to speak about Dakota. Dakota is a ray of sunshine and obviously wise beyond her years. Her soul is so old and beautiful. She is so there and intuitive of other people. That's one of the attributes that makes her such a brilliant actress, her hyperawareness to other people's feelings and her openness. But aside from that, you could talk to her like your best girlfriend, but you can't forget she's nine. She is nine years old and she has the most adorable, hysterical sense of humor. She's as funny as the day is long. She's a giggle bunny and will do cartwheels with me. She's very much nine, but a very, very old soul. She's so intelligent." - Brittany on Dakota

Brittany, she's so nice to everybody and she's just hilarious and funny, but then also she's very dedicated to her work and just does a fantastic job." - Dakota on Brittany

"Dakota is love, light, joy and happiness, with a soul only past lives can account for. She has a brilliant talent as an actress, but she's even more talented at being a humanitarian. She spreads sunshine wherever she goes." - Brittany on Dakota

"Brittany is like my best friend. As you saw when you met her, she's so fun and nice and special and every day she would get on the set and say 'hello" to everybody. The first day, she introduced herself to practically everybody and she's nice and fun to be around. She's full of life. Every day to be on the set with her and see her was really energizing." - Dakota on Brittany

EVENTS

“Brittany's like my big sister. I'm the oldest sister in my family and she's just fantastic. She's like the dream babysitter. If I had a babysitter, I would want her to be exactly like Brittany. She's so nice to everybody and treats everybody so nice. The first day, she was like, "I'm Brittany." She introduced herself to everybody that she possibly could. I’ve learn something from every person on my movies and I learned from her how good it makes other people feel when you're really nice to them. I just want to be more like her.” - Dakota on Brittany

“I got to know Brittany when we made the film Uptown Girls. We became great friends despite the fact we were many years apart in age. Brittany had such a warm child-like spirit that drew people to her. With her goes a piece of my heart and I will miss her terribly. I know how strong Brittany’s love was for her family and my heart goes out to all of them, especially her mother Sharon. I love you Brittany.” - Dakota on the passing of friend and co-star Brittany Murphy

Brittany was certainly a very special person to family, friends, and fans. I have been constantly praying for her and her family. It's sad that someone so young and full of life had to be taken so soon, this picspam is for you Britt.
