One step forward, two steps back

I fucking knew my courseload this semester might be too heavy.  I wanted to get the most out of Enchantments so I waited to take it..  It's really goddamned important for me because it's going to be my major.  And of course Offensive Magics has to be gotten out of the way.  I should have gone with Computer Ed for a braindead class in my schedule.  Summonings was a bad choice.  And Latin, well, its harder than I expected.

Why can't I have a kickass, laidback senior year like my friends back home are having right now?    Enright came to me to "quietly let me know" that my activities in lab at the beginning of the semester were "taken note of" and the headmaster had "given him discretion in the matter."  Which means guess who is going to be spending afternoons as an aide in the computer lab? That's right, yours fucking truly.  I'm not actually that upset about it.  You know, some little hotties might come in needing help printing their homework or something.

The only problem is, I might have to beg to get out of it or at least for study time while I'm in there.  Caine caught me with a copy of "Jugz" magazine inside my grimoire.  I could NOT get her to understand that it was research for my major.  So now I have extra research to do for Offensive Magics.

My roommate came in babbling about more ghosts, water mains, and duels.  I completely fucking spaced on the fact that I was going to try out for Duelling Club.  It's just as well.  I'm enjoying the Forensics lecture series and I hope I can go to the rest, but I doubt I'll have time for a lot more extracurricular bullshit now.

A funny story.  I was feeding my familiar and some mousy girl asked me his name and I told her.  She said "Stanley is kind of a funny name for a rat."  I told her it wasn't Stanley, it was Stan Lee.  She gave me this vacant look and I had to explain to her who Stan Lee was.  Chicks, man.  Me and Stan had a good laugh about it once she wandered off.

computers, stan, school is hard
