Dayum, life has been...different without the internet around, that's for sure.
Why, yes, I AM at a cybercafe now. 8DDD
In between reading Dina Zaman's I Am Muslim (extremely interesting read, highly recommended!) and looping my Gorillaz CDs on my currently revived Stereo, I guess life as an intern isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'm still coping, but I do wonder if I want to face vacutainers and slides for the rest of my life. *pouts*
I had a solo outing with
futomimii on Saturday night which was really enjoyable. It's been a while since I had one-on-one talks with people (I mean, other than
ezelthecheezel and
sapphire_1010) that I don't usually get to meet or get washed away from in huge groups of gatherings. Maybe one of these days I'll kidnap
yuncyn and
axtar... >DDD Oh yes, and clothes shopping with anyone other than my parents is so refreshing LOL. /don't ask XD;;
I'm wondering if I should join
futomimii and co to head down to Singapore for that design, comic and animation exhibition and spend some time with Eugene there as well, but I'm not too fond of the idea of spending more cash with this petrol hike thing... *omnious petrol-like figure looming in the background* Plus, I have a report related to my internship at Assunta to compile and 1209371 Doujinshi projects (actually, just 4 major ones...scrap that. I HAVE 4 DOUJINSHIS I'M TAKING PART IN, WOE! DDD8). Sometimes I wonder what I'm doing with my life. (-__-)
I want to get more reading done before the end of my holidays but I doubt I can finish more than one more book. I was done with Secret River at the beginning of the holiday and that's about it I think. A quarter through Kiran Desai's An Inheritance of Loss, halfway through The Golden Compass, and itching to start on The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari. On top of that, I have two Wooster and Jeeves Omnibuses that mom got for me from Australia (None found in Malaysia, sadly). So many books to read, so little time... Oh yes, and Lydia Teh's 2nd book after Life's Like That (Dammit, can't remember that name).
Muse: I wonder when will be the day I can read books written my Esther Soh and Denise Chow (I hope I got the surname right,
yuncyn. If not, SO SORRY! TT_TT)
Can't wait to pop
ezelthecheezel's clubbing cherry, OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO. >DDD
EDIT: Ah, I fell in love with this movie all over again after watching the trailer. Anyone remembers 'The Truth About Cats and Dogs'? So sweet =)
