heather's gotten me into a whole blogging thing. Trying to find places to post my images etc. and then she's trying to get me to switch to linux and use gimp...gnu's photoshop type software. gnu: god not unix!. gimp: gnu image manipulation program.
It seems to have much of what photoshop has (except maye the all importanmt healing brush). I'm downloading a windows version to see what it can do.
If i can find a way to swap layered images back and forth between photoshop, gimp and school it's definately worth doing.
And i guy heather and i knew at oberlin (anil, it was after your time) is writing and designing gimp so maybe we can get him to write me a few specific need plug-ins.
