CGA

Here's one of the things about The Health Care Field. A lot of the people who work in health care are women. I'm sure there are explanations why, but I'm not going into that at the moment. Let's just say that when you want compliments on your earrings, or someone to notice your new boots, or you need a tampon/aspirin/lip gloss, there are other females which which to consult.

A guy just came in to see his mom, and wanted to know if he could bring in his dog, even though he doesn't have proof of his dog's vaccinations (we have a sign saying pets are welcome, but we need to know if they have had their shots). So I went into the  living room to meet the guy, and WOW! He's adorable! So good looking! It was very distracting. I smiled and said, "So, where's this killer dog of yours?" He admitted the dog was still in his truck, but he wanted to make sure it was okay to bring her in. So I said, Sure. I authorize you." and smiled again, in case he didn't register my personal approval of his appearance before. I showed him how to find his mom's room, and then hovered until he returned with his dog. The dog seemed very sweet... your typical curious yellow lab. I then walked him down to his mom's room. Didn't want him to get lost on the way. It was the only polite thing to do.

And now I am making myself remain in my office, far away from Mr. Distracting. But only after issuing a CGA to all the straight women in the House. It's a public service announcement, really. Cute Guy Alert. I'm sure his mom will be getting some extra attention while the son is around, for everyone has to weigh in on my assessment.
