Headlights from the few passing cars flood light into the narrow inch where the curtains aren't quite fully closed. It allows for a small sliver of light to shine into the otherwise dark room. The features of the room, the TV on the dresser, a little table with the two uncomfortable looking chairs, a lamp and clock on the nightstand, the figure sitting up on the bed remain shrouded in the darkness.

The figure remains motionless except for his hand, silently fiddling with a gun. Usually he couldn't be bothered to sit still, quietly plotting, waiting patiently. But this is not a usual situation.

There's a small noise it sounds loudly in the quiet of the room. Pete grabs the gun in his left hand and he readies the one his right dragging both to the end of the bed ready for the oncoming attack. He fires shots at the first wave that burst through the door. When they get closer he pulls the other weapon off the bed not taking his eyes off them. Pulling the trigger flames spew forth licking up those directly in front of him. They scream as they burn. Firing again as he steps out the door sweeping the flames at everything, everyone in his general vicinity. More screams as they too catch fire. Pete shoots a couple more rounds and in between looks to the flamethrower to keep the at bay while reloading.

His mind flickers briefly flickers back into the past. Patrick lying on the ground, his blood everywhere. Patrick choking on his final breath before slumping to floor, body slowly growing cold. Pete swore revenge.

Pete fires off more shots, the flamethrower sounding off directly after.

au, pete wentz
