Hi guys! :)

I've been away lately for personal reasons, and probably won't be doing anything sim related for a few months more, however I would like let everyone know that the comm will stay running as usual, so keep posting and sharing your games, makeovers, and story updates here.

JIC, I'm keeping track of the comm now and have pm notifications on ( Read more... )

I don't remember much about the first time I played it, I think it was about 5 years ago... I just remember that 10 minutes in the house burned down and everyone died. LOL I had no clue what to do with a fire. I was like "fuck this game"... and then when I wanted to try it again I couldn't install it on my desktop or my laptop. Finally a year ago I got it working on my new desktop (which is still crap, but at least the game plays without too much lag) and I became hooked!

There are many things I haven't played out yet that I'm sure everyone here already has. Pleasantview is my first (and still my main) 'hood, the Dreamers were my first family. Darren fell in love with Brandi and I moved her in... totally didn't even realize she was a playable and had kids of her own... LOL so I broke up the Broke family by not taking anyone else with her, she pretty much abandoned her family, whoops. And then POP! Ha! I was amused!

The first time I played the Goths, I saw the hints the game gives you to try to get Cassandra and Don to marry... but I thought no, that's too fast, I want them to be engaged for a while... but they broke up before too long, I think she caught Don cheating or something. I didn't realize what would happen in the opening scene there until an LJ friend mentioned it, so when I had to restart my game I tried out the wedding and was, again, very amused :D

I love this game! I'm going to camp out on this thread and see what other little tidbits I can pick up... like I see I should go play the Curious family? I should venture over to that town more often!
