Reminders (and a small change of plans)
Remember our Community Project to update the comm's style, is up and running. So far we have three batches with great images (and huge thanks to everyone who already submitted), but we could still use a lot more.
All the previous information can be found here (initial info post/ public) and here (official submission post/member's locked) and we are still collecting pictures (of maxis makeovers) to use in mood theme, icons and banner, however there's been a small change of plans. (as you may notice in the Submission post.)
Initially the idea was to submit only new pictures, so it would be fair for everyone and wouldn't risk being biased in any way. I also thought it would help to get the right type of images, as members would be taking pictures with this project in mind, instead of looking for something that may work instead. However I realize (and deeply appreciate the comment someone made about this over a pm) that all these rules may be making the whole project unnecessarily complicated, so they have been slightly changed.
For now on, we will be also accepting older pictures of your own games, as long as they comply with the basic requirements stated in the Submission post (tl;dr: maxis-match; recognizable premade sims; at least medium quality). I still encourage everyone to take new pictures with new makeovers, but now you can also collaborate, by searching on your storytelling folder and sharing with us any picture that maybe useful. (keep in mind we are looking for mood themes, specially)
Also remember to answer the pool about the header (also in submission post), and read all the requirements clearly before submitting. The due date is now Sept 3rd (not August 26 as it says in the submission thread on said post, but can't edit it any longer).
And don't forget we still have Dare #18 running all August long, in which you can choose any older dare and give it your own twist.
